Church of England Bristol Diocese
Only the Northern part of Wiltshire is covered by the Bristol Diocese of the Church of England. This area is divided up into the Deaneries of Chippenham, North Wiltshire and Swindon. - It is in the responsibility of the Suffragan Bishop of Swindon.

Church of England Salisbury Diocese
Most of Wiltshire is within the Church of England (Anglican) Diocese of Salisbury. - Anglican Parishes play an active part in the Churches Together Groups and many of the Local Ecumenical Partnerships in the County.

Roman Catholic
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Clifton includes all of Wiltshire. Some Roman Catholic parishes are formally involved in Local Ecumenical Partnerships and most play an active part in local Churches Together Groups. - Anne Doyle who was for many years County Ecumenical Officer for Wiltshire (then including Swindon) was honoured by the Pope as a Dame of the Order of the Knights of St.Gregory in recognition of her ecumenical work. She continues to work with Churches Together in England and chair the Clifton Ecumenical Commission. Rev.Michael Robertson is the Diocesan Ecumenical Officer.

Baptist Associations
Most Baptist Churches in Wiltshire are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Of these the majority belong to the West of England Baptist Association, although some in the south of the County belong to the Southern Association. - Some Baptist Churches belong to other unions or associations. Methodist Church
Most Methodist Churches in Wiltshire belong to the Bristol District. www.bristolmethodist.org.uk - The southern part of the County is covered by the Southampton District. There are two 'United Areas' (Mid-Wilts and West Wilts) where Methodists and the United Reformed Church share Ministry and buildings sometimes in United Churches. The Bristol District is represented by the District Chairman Rev.A.Ward Jones and Revs. Chris Cory (Devizes) and Martyn Skinner (Trowbridge). The Southampton District is represented by Rev. Salvation Army
The Salvation Army in Chippenham is in active partnership with Chippenham Churches Together and Voluntary Action to work among homeless people in Chippenham.Captain Mary Wolfe heads up the local work at Froghamshire.The particular contribution towards local emergencies made by the Salvation Army is coordinated in Wiltshire by Major Ken Monk (Community Services Officer) who is based at the Southern Divisional HQ at Fareham, Hampshire.

Friends. (Quakers)
The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) has meetings in Bradford, Devizes, Malmesbury, Marlborough and Salisbury. - Quakers have a very active witness on Peace and Social issues and play an active part in Churches Together Groups.
