| Roman Catholic The Roman Catholic Diocese of Clifton includes all of Wiltshire. Some Roman Catholic parishes are formally involved in Local Ecumenical Partnerships and most play an active part in local Churches Together Groups. - Anne Doyle who was for many years County Ecumenical Officer for Wiltshire (then including Swindon) was honoured by the Pope as a Dame of the Order of the Knights of St.Gregory in recognition of her ecumenical work. Of these the majority belong to the West of England Baptist Association, although some in the south of the County belong to the Southern Association. - Some Baptist Churches belong to other unions or associations. There are two 'United Areas' (Mid-Wilts and West Wilts) where Methodists and the United Reformed Church share Ministry and buildings sometimes in United Churches.
