| The Roman Catholic Diocese of Clifton includes all of Wiltshire. Some Roman Catholic parishes are formally involved in Local Ecumenical Partnerships and most play an active part in local Churches Together Groups. - Anne Doyle who was for many years County Ecumenical Officer for Wiltshire (then including Swindon) was honoured by the Pope as a Dame of the Order of the Knights of St.Gregory in recognition of her ecumenical work. She continues to work with Churches Together in England and chair the Clifton Ecumenical Commission. |
