Breakthrough is a Christian charitable organisation dedicated to the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

In previous years it has provided a service for Trowbridge and the surrounding during the winter months, a shelter enabling our community to offer accommodation, food, friendship and support to the homeless.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this project possible. Are you someone who could offer some of your time?

WANT TO KNOW MORE? The Night Shelter Will be a 10 bed shelter open each night from 7pm until 8.30am and will be run on a voluntary basis. Referral to the shelter will be made by Alabare Drop-In Centre. Volunteers Seven volunteers will run the shelter each night. Three to open the shelter, welcome guests and organise the set up, working 7pm to 10pm. Four staff working 10pm to 08.30am in pairs. Waking shift; 10pm to 3am and sleeping shift; 3am to 8am. Training All training will be provided through the Breakthrough Team.
